Negative energy is a high-speculation mechanism with real theoretical relevance but severe known constraints. It should not replace lower-cost explanations such as sensor bloom, plasma, electromagnetic boundary effects, coherent field envelopes, or soliton-like observable states. The useful version is narrow: > A UAP may use a constrained negative-energy-like boundary as part of a larger positive/negative stress-energy field envelope.
